People on-board missing safari boat found

The people on-board the missing safari boat Blue Voyage Cruises Aldebaran, which went missing while on its way from Gaafu Dhaalu Kaadedhdhoo to Male’, have been found.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said that the people were on a small dinghy when they were found, and they are all in good condition.

The safari boat has not been found.

MNDF cited the owner of the boat and said that the boat was carrying eight people including five Maldivians and three foreigners made up of two Bangladeshis and one Italian.

MNDF has urged anyone who has any information on the 28-meter long, white boat to contact them without delay at 191, 3395981, or 3398898.
