Maldivian suffers serious injuries in accident in India

A Maldivian man has suffered serious head injuries in an accident in Trivandrum, India.

The accident took place last night, and the victim is Nadheem Masood, 34.

Nadheem’s younger sibling Lilitha Masood told Sun Online that Nadheem was on a motorcycle with former Male’ City Council Member Ahmed Hameed, when they collided with another motorcycle.

Hameed did not suffer any major injuries in the accident.

In addition to the head injury, Nadheem also sustained serious injuries to his face including a fractured bone near his nose.

Lilitha said that Nadheem is in the ICU, and will be kept unconscious for 48 hours after a three-hour surgery.
