Goods recovered, group arrested for robbery in Dharavandhoo

Police have recovered the stolen goods and arrested four local men following the robbery of a store in Baa Dharavandhoo.

The men were arrested Friday afternoon during an operation by Baa Eydhofushi Police Station, the main police station in the atoll - following a report of the robbery. Ages of the four men were revealed as 23, 24, 25 and 29.

Following the search of five different houses under court warrants, Police recovered MVR 10,300 in cash, some cosmetic items and a carton of cigarettes, stolen from the store.

Eydhafushi police station is investigating the case.
