Couple arrested with drugs, snake

Police have searched a house named Lucky Shade in Henveyru, and arrested a couple and confiscated drugs, a snake, and a spider.

The arrest was made in a bedroom in Lucky Shade, after the police searched the house under a court warrant at 11:15 p.m. on Thursday night.

Police said that the 27-year-old woman and the 28-year-old man have claimed that they are married, but have not been able to prove this.

The snake confiscated by police is an Albino Banded California King Snake.

Police also seized a spider, a Mexican Redkneed Tarantula, which the couple kept in a tank as a pet.

Police also found a counterfeit $100 note in the room.
