Tiny Hearts begins program to take children with heart problems to doctor

Tiny Hearts of Maldives has commenced a three-day program today, to take children with heart problems to the doctor.

Under this program, two children’s heart specialists will be available till Saturday to treat children born with heart complications. The visit to the doctor will be free of charge.

This service will be provided at IGM Hospital’s children’s OPD in two shifts. Doctors’ appointments have already been made for more than 200 children registered with Tiny Hearts.

Tiny Hearts was formed in 2009 following the death of a child with heart problems. The organisation’s aim is to save other children suffering from similar complications. Tiny hearts also provides advice and financial assistance to children who require operations.
