Police find over MVR 500,000 at M. Zillion

The police have found more than MVR 500,000 at M. Zillion while conducting checks on the house after several people inside were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing.

The police said that they found MVR 140,000 and US$11,000, as well as drugs with total street value of over MVR 200,000.

Police commenced their operation this morning and concluded it at 5:30 p.m.

They found one big plastic packet and five film canisters of drugs, one big plastic packet of hashish oil, and several empty alcohol bottles and beer cans.

The police also found five walkie-talkies, four sex toys, and an endangered animal slow loris at M. Zillion.

Eight people including three women were arrested during this operation by the police.
