Director of Platinum Real Estate Development (PRED) Gahthan Haleem has said that phase two of the Hulhumale’ Platinum Residences has been completed.

Gahthan said this today at a press conference.

Phase two of the Hulhumale’ Platinum Residences is made up of 46 apartments, which includes twenty 3-bedroom apartments, nineteen 4-bedroom apartments, six penthouses, and one 7-bedroom apartment.

Gahthan said that 80 percent of the phase two apartments have been sold, and that handing over of apartments to owners will begin on 25 January.

Buyers of these apartments were given the option of either paying the full amount, or paying 20 percent upfront and the remaining amount in instalments via Islamic Bank.

Gahthan said that several people have requested to rent rather than buy the apartments, but renting will be left up to the new owners.

Prices of these apartments range from MVR 2.3 million to MVR 8 million excluding the 7-bedroom apartment, said Gahthan.

He said that the third and final phase of the project will begin soon.
