Fire breaks out in Ayada Maldives

A fire incident occurred last night on the luxury island resort of Ayada Maldives.

No one was hurt in the incident.

An official from the resort’s security department told Sun that the fire broke inside the resort’s kitchen and that the property did not see much damage except a minor scorch to the ceiling. The fire was extinguished soon after it broke out, the officials aid.

He cannot speculate on what caused the fire, the official said. Police are investigating the incident. A comment from the police could not be obtained at the time of press.
