Police announce for 50 new recruits

Maldives Police Service has announced for 25 male and 25 female new recruits to join the service.

Published on the government gazette on Sunday, the announcement states that salaries for the officers will start off at MVR 4,650 per month and describes the job as undertaking all duties required by a police officer. It also states that the new batch will be stationed in the atolls.

The applicants have to undergo aptitude and physical fitness tests and pass a medical examination and a background check. Applications must be submitted to the main police headquarters, Shaheed Adam Building before 13 January 2014.
