HRCM investigates torture allegations of two minors during arrest

Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM) has launched an investigation into allegations of torture of two minors during their arrest by the police.

HRCM said that the commission has today conducted interviews with the two minors, but did not provide further details.

Police Media Official said they are unaware of the case that HRCM has taken under investigation and thus, will not be able to comment on the matter.
