Police collaborate with foreign group to investigate judge sex video

The police are collaborating with a foreign group to investigate the case against Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed, following a leaked sex video.

The video shows a man suspected to be Judge Hameed with prostitutes.

Superintendent of Police Abdulla Nawaz announced this while peaking at a press conference at Iskandar Building on Wednesday night. He however did not disclose the name of the group, or which country they are from.

He said that the police are waiting for more information before they proceed with the investigation against Judge Hameed, and that the people in the video must be identified before the case is filed to court.

“I believe more doors will open once we receive this information, and we will be able to do more then,” he said.

He said that the police are also investigating a group of people who used the video to blackmail the judge.

“We have done forensic tests, carried out several other investigations, but until now, we have not obtained any information to prove the identity of the person seen in the video,” he said.

Nawaz said that not much progress has been made in the investigation, and that the people seen in the video have been brought in for questioning.

He did not mention if the court issued a warrant to check Judge Hameed’s residence.

“Both sides have committed a crime. One side has blackmailed, if that’s true. We are investigating both cases,” he said.
