Suood appointed to committee investigating case against Judge Ali Hameed

Lawyer Husnu Al Suood has been appointed to the committee investigating the sex scandal involving Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) said that Suood was appointed to the committee following the appointment of committee member Mohamed Anil as the Attorney General.

Concerns have been raised by several groups following the delay in the investigation of the case against Judge Hameed.

Members of committee in addition to Suood are Vice President of JSC Abdulla Didi, JSC Member appointed by the President Latheefa Gasim, JSC Member Ahmed Rasheed, and Lawyer Hussain Siraj.
