Police seek suspect for motorcycle theft

Maldives Police Service has made a public appeal in search of a man suspected of stealing a motorcycle on 12 November.

The young man has been identified as 19-year-old Ahmed Irfan of Sandhubarakaage, Mukurimagu, Laamu Gan.

Police said Ahmed Irfan currently carries an arrest warrant and has a record of motorcycle theft and damaging property.

Police has urged individuals with information regarding Ahmed Irfan to contact the Maldives Police Service hotline 3322111, the emergency number at 119 or the Criminal Investigation Department at 9631696.

Police has also assured that individuals who step forward with information will be awarded due protection.
