Financial Controller dismissed

Financial Controller at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury Mohamed Ahmed has been dismissed from the post.

Finance Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Ismail Ali Manik told Sun today that the President’s Office notified the Financial Controller of his dismissal last night.

He said the President has not made a new appointment to the post.

President Abdulla Yameen is currently in the process shuffling the government and bringing changes to political posts, following his inauguration as president last Sunday.
