Individual arrested for alcohol possession

An individual has been arrested in Kaafu Guraidhoo with a bottle of alcohol.

The police said that the arrest took place at 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old was arrested by police officers patrolling the island.

Kaafu Maafushi Court has given a detention period of seven days for the suspect, said the police.
