Police search for missing 17-year-old boy

Maldives Police Service is searching for a 17-year-old boy missing since early Wednesday morning.

Police said the boy, Ismail Shafraz of Ma. Blackpool, Male’ was reported missing around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday. They said family describes the boy’s physique as “thin build, with short hair and black eyes.”

Ismail Shafraz was last seen wearing a violet shirt and cream skinny jeans on Tuesday around 8:45 a.m. near Dharubaaruge.

Police have urged individuals with information on the whereabouts of the missing person to contact the Maldives Police Service on 3322111 or the hotline, 119 or the Family and Child Protection Department at 9790163, at the earliest possible time.
