EC announces ballot box details

Elections Commission has published the ballot box details for eligible voters for the first round of the presidential election scheduled for 9 November.

The list published on the commission’s website states the ballot box region and ballot box number for every eligible voter.

The commission has also opened for complaints regarding re-registration today. Voters are welcome to file complaints and request information between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. today, and between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Elections Commission said that voters can check their ballot box details by sending an SMS to 1414, on the commission’s website, or via island council offices.
