EC allows for voters' list complaints

Elections Commission has called for the public to file complaints regarding the voters’ list between 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. today.

The commission said that the list, provided by the Department of National Registration (DNR), will be available from the commission’s website, island council offices and the Elections Commission headquarters.

Voters information is also available by dialing or sending an SMS to Elections Commission toll free number, 1414, the commission said.

Complaints can be lodged through a special registry complaints form, which can be obtained and filed at the commission’s reception, the Elections Commission Registration Department or island council offices.

Elections Commission announced on Monday night that the first round of the re-run election will beheld on 9 November, and the second round, if necessary, on 16 November.
