Car torched in Addu City

A car parked on a road in Hithadhoo, Addu City, was torched on Wednesday night.

Police media official told Sun Online that police received a report of an arson attack on a car parked near a mosque named Masjidhul Soora, around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Hithadhoo police station is currently investigating the attack, although no arrests have been made. The fire had damaged the car unusable, the police media official said.
