President Waheed is with PPM: Yameen

Presidential candidate of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) Abdullah Yameen has said that President Dr Mohamed Waheed supports PPM.

Speaking to reporters prior to starting his door-to-door campaign today, he said that President Waheed will join the PPM coalition with his team, and that President Waheed will attend the next PPM-MDA rally.

Yameen said that the next rally will be attended by several leading politicians, addition to President Waheed.

Yameen’s running mate Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed and some parliament members of PPM also joined the door-to-door campaign today.
