Election safety training conducted in Noonu Atoll

Police have conducted a special election safety training program for the quick reaction force in Noonu Atoll on Tuesday.

The trainings took place in Noonu Manadhoo and were based on preparations for election related issues and discussions on procedures for unplanned events. The participants also went through a number of scenarios of such events in preparation for polling day.

Information was provided by an officer from the Police Institute for Security and Law Enforcement Studies.
