Young man stabbed and wounded in Male

A young man was stabbed and wounded in the capital Male’ last night.

Police revealed that a young man was taken in Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) following an assault incident near Fairy House in Machchangoalhi around 12:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Referring to doctors at the hospital, police said that a 28 year old man was being treated for two stabs in the chest.

Maldives Police Service’s Serious and Organized Crime Department is currently investigating the incident.
