President to exchange Eid al-Fitr greetings with public on Thursday

President’s Office has announced that President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik will exchange Eid al-Fitr greetings with the members of the general public this Thursday.

The President’s Office revealed that the President will receive members of the public from 0930 to 1030 hours in Muleeaage on Thursday, the 8th of August 2013.

“Attendance is not by specific invitation and all members of the general public are welcome to visit Muleeaage to exchange greetings with the President.

“This invitation is open to Maldivians of all ages and to members of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations resident in Male’. Members of the public are also welcome to bring along their children to exchange greetings with the President,” the President’s Office statement read.

For the event, the Office has arranged for members of the public to enter Muleeaage through the main gate in Medhuziyaarai Magu.
