Auditor General’s Office has said that their report of the 2011 South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit is being delayed because they were required to further detail the report.
Auditor General Niyaz Ibrahim told Sun today that, during their review of the report, the Auditor General’s Office noticed certain areas that needed further detailing and that they are currently working on those areas.
“We were not satisfied with the report when we received it. Then we noticed, during our review of the report, that there were certain things that needed further detail. The delay is due to this, to make these perfections,” Auditor General said.
Auditor General Niyaz said that they hope to publish the report within the month. The office had earlier scheduled to release the report on the 15th of this month.
