Mohamed Saleem (Reynis) summoned by the police

The police have decided to summon Mohamed Saleem (Reynis), member appointed to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) by the president, in relation to a case under investigation by the police.

A police media official said that an official notification had been sent to Saleem asking him to attend the police station at 15:00 today.

The media official did not say which case Saleem is being summoned in relation to.

Saleem also represented Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ahmed Nazim as his lawyer in court, at the trial of the case filed by the State accusing Nazim of fraud.
