Maafushi Prison staff and inmates screened for TB

Inmates and staff of Maafushi Prison have been screened for Tuberculosis after an inmate serving a sentence was tested positive for the disease.

Person in-charge of the Department of Penitentiary and Rehabilitation Services (DPRS) Minister of State for Home Affairs confirmed that the screening was conducted, but failed to mention whether any of the persons had tested positive for the disease.
