Interim order issued to halt all efforts related to taking people to Hajj

The Civil Court has issued an interim order to halt all efforts related to taking people to Hajj this year.

This order came following a case filed by four groups, requesting the court for an interim order in this regard, and also to declare that the decision by the Islamic Ministry not to evaluate the proposals submitted by the four groups was against the regulation on taking people to Hajj.

This case was filed to Civil Court by Al Manaasik Private Limited, Al Fat’h Hajj and Umra Private Limited, Safaa Private Limited and Classic Hajj and Umra Private Limited.

The Civil Court ordered the State and all stakeholders involved in the matter to halt all efforts undertaken under the assumption that they have been or would be given the permit to take people to Hajj this year, until the court makes a decision regarding the case filed by the four groups.
