MDP offices to be opened in every inhabited island

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) temporary chairperson Moosa “Reeko” Manik said that the party would open a local office in every inhabited island of the Maldives on the first of Ramadan.

Mr. Manik said that they will open offices where there were no offices yet and if it was difficult to establish an office than they will even start a administrative desk on the first of Ramadan. He said so speaking in a workshop held for Laamu Atoll MDP activists in the island of Gan in Laamu Atoll.

He also said that they needed the support of the MDP branches, atoll committees and the councilors.

“We will establish an MDP office in all the inhabited islands in the Maldives. We will make sure that on the first date of Ramadan, we have an MDP administrative post in each island even by establishing a desk in a key MDP person’s house. These administrative posts will be giving administrative services such as membership drive”, said Moosa.
