DHI Foundation gifts Umrah trip for SSTV’s Ramadan religious quiz competition

DHI Foundation has gifted an Umrah trip as the grand prize for a religious quiz competition which will be hosted by SSTV this Ramadan.

The agreement pertaining to this partnership was signed by Chief Content Officer Mohamed Zaheen on behalf of Sun Siyam Media and Chairman Moosa Rasheed on behalf of DHI Foundation.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, Zaheen said the religious quiz competition, with an Umrah trip as the grand prize, will be open for participants nationwide. In this regard, he detailed that the program will run live daily in the afternoons throughout Ramadan, with questions covering Islamic foundations and other religious topics.

The Umrah trip will be awarded to a lucky winner selected through a draw held among participants with the most correct answers.

Moosa Rasheed, who also spoke at the ceremony, said the Umrah trip was gifted to SSTV as the channel is one of the most popular and one of the most viewed television channels in the Maldives at present.

SSTV’s content is heavily linked to Maldives, Maldivian nationality and its people.
