Maldives Police has commenced efforts to recruit 150 people to the police force.
The police referred to Head of Police Human Resource Department, Superintendent of Police Ismail Naveen and said that priority will be given in the recruitment process to people who have higher education.
He highlighted that opportunities exist within the areas of forensics, bio science, human resource management and judicial system.
Naveen said that people who have qualifications will be given a rank suited to their level of education, and that opportunities will be available within Maldives as well as abroad to advance in police services.
The minimum criteria to join the police are C grade in Islam, Dhivehi and four additional subjects in the GCE and IGCSE Exams. The new job opportunities by the police service also include the opportunity to work as civil servants.
