Applications open for MNACI Builder Awards 2025

The Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) has officially opened submissions for the MNACI Builder Awards 2025, inviting companies and professionals across the construction sector to apply.

In a press release issued Sunday, MNACI announced that the biennial awards aim to recognise outstanding achievements and contributions to the nation’s built environment. The awards gala is scheduled for December 9, 2025.

Submissions are open across 19 categories, grouped under four main segments:

1. Contractor Awards

  • Contractor of the Year  
  • SME Contractor of the Year  
  • Resort Contractor of the Year  
  • Real Estate Contractor of the Year  
  • Infrastructure Contractor of the Year  
  • Marine Contractor of the Year  
  • Foreign Contractor of the Year  

2. Professional Firm Awards  

  • Architectural & Design Firm of the Year  
  • Engineering & Specialist Consultant of the Year  
  • Project Management Firm of the Year  
  • Logistics & Transport Firm of the Year  
  • Construction Supplier of the Year  
  • Service Provider of the Year 

3. Project & Product Awards  

  • Project Delivery Excellence Award  
  • Construction Product Innovation Award  

 4. Individual Awards  

  • Young Builder Award 2025  
  • Outstanding Woman Leader in Construction Award 2025  
  • Lifetime Achievement Award 2025  
  • MNACI President’s Special Award 2025  

The judging panel will comprise industry experts, with evaluations set to take place in early December. The deadline for submissions is November 30.

The MNACI Builder Awards were first launched in December 2023 and are held every two years. The 2025 edition is supported by Gold Sponsor Ooredoo Maldives, and Bronze Sponsors Hotels and Resort Construction Maldives (HARIM) and Print Lab.

MNACI is the primary representative body for the Maldivian construction sector, committed to advancing industry standards and professional development.
