The Mr. Maldives Classic is the second edition of the Amateur Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Championship. According to WAM, around 60 athletes are expected to compete in the weightlifting and powerlifting tournaments.

Speaking at both ceremonies, Asif expressed gratitude for the opportunity to cover these sports for the first time. “This is the first time SS Media is covering bodybuilding and I would like to thank the association for giving us this opportunity,” he said. BBAM’s Aiman thanked SS Media for finalizing the agreement swiftly, while WAM’s Nazeeh highlighted the historic nature of the tournaments and the importance of media coverage in promoting the sport.
