Japan's Human Resource Development Scholarship Program (JDS) is hosting a series of information sessions this week for prospective applicants in the Maldives.
These events will provide detailed insights into the program's curriculum, partner universities, application process, and alumni experiences.
The sessions are scheduled as follows: Wednesday, October 22: Online session from 13:30 to 14:00, hosted by a professor from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University.
Launched in the Maldives in 2020 and funded by the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the JDS Scholarship supports the development of future leaders in key public sectors.
It offers six fully funded Master's degree programs annually, covering tuition, travel, accommodation, and more, to help mid-level civil servants and public officials advance social and economic policies upon their return.
