Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO and Managing Director of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) now known as Visit Maldives, said the event reflected the unity of the people and their dedication to protecting the ocean for future generations.

Following the dive, Visit Maldives presented a certificate, plaque, and badge to the Baa atoll Council in recognition of the achievement.

The dive was part of a broader initiative to promote sustainable tourism and environmental stewardship in the Maldives. Baa atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is known for its rich marine biodiversity and eco-tourism efforts.
