Maldivian fusion band 2ofus will host “Dream Beyond Borders – 2ofus LIVE in Kuala Lumpur” on November 7, marking the first official international concert organized and headlined by a Maldivian band.

The event will take place at Stage 1 Theatre, Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC), Malaysia. Tickets go live on October 20.

Produced by 2ofus, the concert is a milestone for the Maldivian music industry, showcasing homegrown talent on an international stage with full-scale production. The event is backed by Concierge Group Maldives Pvt Ltd as Title Sponsor, with support from Visit Maldives, Island Perfumes, Maldives Centre, Male’ City Council, Me2 Films, SSTV, Phat Katz Events, Crepe Runner, Maagiri Hotel, Hulhule' Island Hotel, Azidon, and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

While Maldivian artists such as Fasy Live, Zero Degree Atoll, Nothnegal, Skyrock, The Detune Band, and Traphic Jam have performed abroad, their appearances were part of shared festivals and cultural showcases. This concert marks the first time a Maldivian band is independently organizing and headlining a fully official, ticketed show overseas.

2ofus will be joined by celebrated Maldivian acts including Fasy Live, Spitball, Zolo, Yoosuf, and Heyvalla. Indian percussionist Het Pasad and Maldivian tabla player Hamdhaan will also perform, highlighting an India-Maldives rhythm collaboration.

“We’ve performed across the islands and national stages, but this concert goes beyond borders, literally and emotionally,” said lead vocalist Ahmed Adhuham. “This isn’t just about us, it’s about every Maldivian artist who dreams of taking our music global. We’re honored to make history together.”

Formed by Ahmed Adhuham, Abdullah Shamrookh, Ahmed Jasheem, Ahmed Shaheed (Shahyd Legacy), and formerly Mohamed Nasooh, 2ofus is known for soulful originals in Dhivehi, Hindi, and English. The band promotes a clean lifestyle and has performed at Olympus Theatre, national festivals, and now Kuala Lumpur’s PJPAC.
