PPM moves towards dissolution

The senate of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) which ruled the Maldives from 2013 to 2018 has decided to dissolve the party. PPM was officially registered as a political party on October 27, 2011. Elections Commission (EC)’s website shows 34,694 members are registered to the party as of September 19th of this year. The party’s senate unanimously voted to dissolve the party
