Bodies of inmates who died in custody sent overseas

The bodies of the prison inmates who died on the same day earlier in February have been sent overseas for an autopsy. The two - Ibrahim Suhail, 53, Dhafthar No: DR439, and Hassan Niyaz, 45, Dhiggaagasdhoshuge, S. Hithadhoo – were inmates at the Hulhumale’ Prison. They both died in hospitals on February 2. The police, who are investigating both custodial deaths, said that
