The body of a man who went overboard from the Indian cargo ship "MSV Daulah" has been recovered after a two-day search operation.
The Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) confirmed that the body was found south of the Feydhoofinolhu area in Kaafu Atoll and has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
According to earlier reports from the MNDF, the incident occurred approximately one kilometer off the coast of Vilimale' while the Indian vessel was in the northern waters. The Coastguard's Second Squadron, operating under the Male' Area Command, was responsible for the search efforts.
This incident follows a series of similar occurrences in the region recently.
