Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open set to begin tomorrow with 347 athletes from 8 countries

Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open 2025 badminton tournament is set to begin tomorrow.

The tournament will begin tomorrow and run through Wednesday at Kulhivaru Ekuveni Badminton Hall.

Organized by The Badminton Club, the tournament presents a dynamic platform for young athletes to demonstrate their talent. A total of 347 players from eight countries — including 30 international participants — will compete in 733 matches.

The tournament is structured across six age divisions: under 9, under 11, under 13, under 15, under 17, and under 19, offering opportunities for youth across various age groups to take part. In a move to promote inclusivity, the tournament also features a Para/Special Olympics category, ensuring athletes of all abilities have a chance to compete.
