Dr. Wisham and Dr. Mariya’s patient guide book on metabolic disorders launched

A patient guide book on diabetes and metabolic disorders by experienced Endocrinologists Dr. Mohamed Wisham and Dr. Mariya Rusalenko has been launched on Sunday.

The book, ‘Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders Patient Education Guide’, was launched by Health Minister Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim on Sunday evening during the inauguration ceremony of Centre for Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders, the first of its kind in the Maldives.

The book was released as part of treatment education plan and to increase awareness among patients.

It is the second book on patient education written by authors targeted to self-educate the population on common metabolic disorders in Maldives.
