Drone show and children’s evening in Hulhumale’ on Eid

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has planned several events in Hulhumale’ to commemorate this year’s Eid al-Fitr, including a drone show and a children’s evening.

According to HDC, the children’s evening will be held at Central Park from 16:00pm to 17:45pm on Eid evening and will feature a wide range of unforgettable experiences for children. This will be followed by fireworks and a drone show at night.

Male’ City Council has also planned colorful events in Male’ for Fitr Eid which is set to kick off with a ‘Bodu Mas’ event at 16:00pm on Eid evening. The 'Bodu Mas' event will start at Rasfannu and move along Majeedhu Magu, ending at Artificial Beach.

Apart from this, MNDF and Police in collaboration with state-owned companies are scheduled to hold a mega event under the ‘Eid Haaveru 1446’. The event will be held at a dedicated area from Sultan Park to Republic’s Square and the national jetty.

Prominent astronomer, former president Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom has predicted this year’s Eid al-Fitr will fall on Sunday, March 30th. However, according to this year's calendar, Eid al-Fitr falls on Monday, March 31st.
