Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG), the Maldives' largest gaming platform, is set to host 'GameQuest - Addu Edition' in Addu City, their first-ever tournament in the atolls.
The GameQuest - Addu Edition, organized in collaboration with the Addu City Council, will be held from March 16- 17 at Sharafuddin School.
Dhiraagu said that the tournament is aimed at the vibrant youth gaming community in the region, and is open to both beginners and experienced gamers from Addu.
The tournament will showcase exciting games like EA FC 25 and VR simulation games, ensuring there is something for every gamer.
For gamers battling it out in EA FC 25, Dhiraagu has announced a prize pool of MVR 10,000, raising the stakes even higher.
Gamers interested in taking part in ‘Game Quest-Addu Edition’ can register for the tournament through the DGG website.
The deadline for registration is March 13.
DGG says it is committed to leading the way in promoting and developing esports across the Maldives, and to nurturing the next generation of gaming talent.
It also said the championship represents a significant milestone in Dhiraagu's mission to elevate Maldivian gaming to new heights.
As part of this vision, DGG launched Season 1 and unveiled an exciting new chapter in competitive gaming with the announcement of the Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC) 2025 earlier this year.
