Ooredoo successfully concludes Ultimate Gaming Festival with grand prizes

Ooredoo Maldives has successfully concluded Ooredoo Nation Gamer’s Land: The Ultimate Gaming Festival with a spectacular finale, bringing together gaming enthusiasts and esports athletes in an unforgettable experience.

The event held at Usfasgandu in Male’ City was graced by Sports Minister Abdulla Rafiu as chief guest. 

The festival began with an exciting cosplay segment, where skilled participants brought popular gaming and anime characters to life, displaying their creativity. The top cosplayers were honored and rewarded for their impressive performances, adding even more excitement to the event.

The most anticipated moment of the evening was the announcement of The Ultimate Player, recognizing the best gamer of the year. After fierce competition, Haisham Waheed triumphed, claiming the coveted title and a grand prize.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Minister Rafiu praised Ooredoo Nation for its contribution to promoting esports and gaming culture in the Maldives.

“Gaming and esports have become a major part of global entertainment and digital innovation. Events like Gamer’s Land not only provide a platform for our talented gamers but also contribute to the growth of the industry in the Maldives,” he said.
