Collapsed wall in Naifaru injures two children

A wall from an under-construction building in Lh. Naifari had fallen on the roof of a neighboring house, resulting in injuries to two children.

Naifaru Council’s President Mohamed Rasheed confirmed the incident to ‘Sun’ Online, adding the incident had occurred around 18:00hrs on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

“Two children were injured. They have bruises and scratches on the body,” the council president added.

According to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), that one room from the affected house has been damaged beyond hospitable conditions. A family of eight lived in the impacted house, NDMA added.

The authority had been working on temporarily relocating the people living in the damaged room.
