As the Minister of Tourism, Faisal had worked diligently and honestly, he assured while the same was echoed by his father, Abdul Raheem in a post on X as well.

In his post on X, Abdul Raheem said he was proud of the achievements of his son as the tourism minister, and added Faisal had served his duties with utmost sincerity. Abdul Raheem also acknowledged his son had produced significant and positive results as the minister, which was reflected on the tourism industry.

Abdul Raheem had been the closest political ally and confidante of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu around the formative days of the current government. The Speaker was initially the Special Advisor to the President, which is equivalent to a Chief Minister position.
