Government confirms resignation of Mohamed Manik as Chairman of IAS

The President’s Office has confirmed that Chairman of Island Aviation Services Private Limited Koli Mohamed Umar Manik has resigned from his post.

His resignation has been received and accepted by the President, says the President’s Office.

In the letter sent by the President, he thanked Umar Manik, who is also a renowned businessman and Chairman of Universal Enterprises, for his efforts to develop Island Aviation Services Private Limited.

He noted that during the past few years, the company’s management had stabilized and profit had increased, and that these are remarkable achievements during Umar’s Chairmanship.
