Permanent Secretary of Defence Ministry resigns

Permanent Secretary of Defence Ministry Reenee Abdul Sattar has resigned from her post.

President of Civil Services Commission Mohamed Fahmee Hassan said that the reason for Reenee’s resignation is to “spend more time with the family”, and that she resigned today.

Reenee’s resignation comes at a time when, late last night, the Chief Judge of Criminal Court was taken away by security forces while he was at home with his family.

Till now, nearly 48 hours after his arrest, his situation and location are still unknown.
