Dhiraagu opens applications for Apprenticeship Program 2025

Local telecom operator, Dhiraagu, has opened applications for the company’s Apprenticeship Program 2025 intake.  

The program is the first apprenticeship program of its kind and one of Dhiraagu’s key CSR initiatives.

It is designed to empower youth by developing them through a structured educational training program, enhancing their work skills and familiarizing them with the corporate working environment.

Under the program, participants will earn as they simultaneously learn and gain on-the-job experience and training in various fields in Dhiraagu, such as Administration, Brand and Marketing Communications, Corporate Services, Deployment Support Services, Financial Accounting, Human Resources, Network Operations, Product and Solution Development, Revenue Assurance & Business Control, and Roaming & Carrier Services. 

All apprentices will receive training conducted by in-house staff specialists on soft skills development and essential knowledge in areas such as time management, personal management, project planning, presentation skills, and more.

This year, the opportunity to participate in this year’s program extends to Dhiraagu Head Office in Male’ as well as the company’s operation centers in Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Baa Atoll and Ari Atoll.

Any Maldivian between the ages of 18 to 30 who have completed their A’ Levels or bachelor’s degree and who are not employed full-time are eligible for the program. Applications can be submitted through Dhiraagu’s website before December 1st.

Introduced in 2009, Dhiraagu’s Apprenticeship Program has seen the enrollment of 268 youths to date, who have gone to establish successful careers in the company and other organizations across the Maldives.
