The second hearing of the trial against former President Mohamed Nasheed regarding the unconstitutional arrest of Chief Judge of Criminal Court Abdullah Mohamed, has been scheduled.

An Official of the judiciary said that Nasheed’s trial has been scheduled for 4:00 pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Hulhumale’ Court has granted Nasheed permission to travel abroad between today and Thursday as per Nasheed’s request.

At the first trial session held last year, Nasheed denied the charges against him, following which the state presented several pieces of evidence to prove its case.
