Bid opened for development of tourist hotel at Baarah

Tourism Ministry has opened bid applications for the development of a tourist hotel at HA. Baarah.

The development of a tourist hotel at Baarah by opening an international bid is a pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

Tourism Ministry held a press conference regarding the matter on Mondy which was attended by Tourism Minister Ibrahim Faisal and Baarah MP Ibrahim Shujau in addition to Baarah Council members who participated via Zoom.

The Ministry is inviting bids from eligible investors, either local or foreign, to lease, develop, operate and manage a tourist at a 71,832 square meter plot at Baarah.

A virtual information session will be held for interested individuals at 10:00pm on Monday via Zoom. To join the session, the Ministry has instructed to send an email detailing name, email address and phone number to [email protected] before 12:00pm on Sunday.

The deadline to submit the proposal is 10:00pm on December 5^th.

The application form to purchase the bid document is available on the Ministry’s website. The bid document will be available for purchase from the Ministry’s reception between 9:00am and 13:00pm or via email until December 4^th.
